Spider-Man: Miles Morales Walkthrough

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and you can follow this guide for either version of the game. Before we get into detail about what each of the trophies you’ll be hunting down is for, we will take an overarching look at the entire playthrough. This will let you make sure you don’t miss any trophies or get caught doing extra grinding and help make your playthroughs of the game as enjoyable as possible.

Step One: The Main Story

The first part of your walkthrough should be just playing through the game’s main story at a natural pace and enjoying the ride. While you play through, you can unlock whatever abilities seem interesting to you, complete any side quests you want, and pick up any collectibles you come across along the way. Thankfully, none of the trophies are missable, and you’ll be able to free-roam around the map after you complete the story to finish up anything you still have to do. You can also play on any difficulty you want, but if you’re looking to get through the game as quickly as possible, you should play on the Friendly Neighbourhood difficulty. This is the easiest difficulty in the game and makes it impossible for you to die while severely cutting enemies’ health. You can only get two trophies during their associated mission, Like a Rhino In A China Shop and Competitive Spirit. Still, if you miss them, you can replay the missions through mission selection or during your second playthrough.

Step Two: Cleaning Up the Map

Once you’re done with the main storyline, you’ll want to work towards cleaning up the open world. This will include chasing down collectibles and running through side missions. As you complete this step, you should also try to check off some of the combat trophies in action below, so make sure you read through those. During this step, you’ll also have to complete all of the districts by 100% completion. You can do this stage in whatever order you want, but it is easy to start it by doing the side mission Memory Lane. This quest leads you around the city to collect postcards, and while you get them, you can do any of the other activities you come across.

Step Three: Grinding Combat Trophies

Before you move on to your second playthrough in New Game+, you’ll want to wrap up any of the remaining combat trophies you have. By the time you start Step Two, you should have all of the combat abilities in the game unlocked. this means that as you complete the map, you should also adapt your playstyle intermittently to get the following trophies that require you to use specific abilities.

Trophies in this Step:

  • 100x Combo!!!
  • From the Rafters
  • Climbing the Walls
  • Invisible Spider
  • overcharge
  • Up and Over
  • From Downtown
  • Trapped
  • Nowhere to Hide

Step Four: New Game+

Once you have the game wholly beaten, you’ll have to move on to a New Game+ playthrough. Since all of your unlocks and tokens from the previous playthrough will carry forward into this one, you can also try to get any of your missing combat trophies. During this playthrough, you can also focus on getting through the main story missions as quickly as possible since there is no reason for you to play any side content. There is also no difficulty requirement for this playthrough, so feel free to play it at whatever difficulty you are comfortable with.
