Ubisoft took things to the next level with features that make this one stand out, and I was especially impressed with the intricate story. Fans of Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul naturally associate the likeness of Giancarlo Esposito with Gus Fring’s character, which translates remarkably well into the similar role of a corrupt dictator named Antón Castillo.

The character dynamics and story make this title stand out, but the gameplay is also highly satisfying, as expected from the acclaimed Far Cry series. The stunning paradise of Yara is the most expansive map we have ever seen, and it’s breathtaking despite the many bloody gunfights on your noble road to liberate the nation.

The story has some brutal moments, but the platinum isn’t that difficult to obtain. Step 1: Finish the Story and Don’t Overlook the Missable Achievement

There’s no need to rush because earning your platinum isn’t a race unless you make it that way. Take the story at your own pace and complete the missions according to your preference. Regarding the missable trophy, you should know the details from the start.

When you get a boat, drive it to the outskirts to unlock Hidden In Plain Sight, and that’s the only missable trophy for Far Cry 6. It would help if you focused on building and upgrading facilities during your first playthrough. While completing the story, you can look for specific trophies during this step.

The ones listed below are recommended to shoot for and include tasks like staying undetected in a base or using a control security center. Look through these trophy requirements and decide which suits your playthrough. The trophies listed below when the credits roll would be ideal. If not, then you’ll have some extra chores later.

Step 2: Discover Missing Collectibles & Other Items

In this step, you will do various activities and discover every collectible item. These include USB Sticks, unique weapons, roosters, & Cryptograma chests. You will likely have found many in your initial playthrough, but some need your attention. The post-game makes it easy to obtain any combat-related achievements as well.

Recapturing FND posts is an excellent way to farm kills with more enemies. You need to know that platinum requires you to recapture FND bases and kill the insurgency leader three times, which will take a few weeks for the Oh no, you don’t! Trophy.

Step 3: Finish Special Ops

You should know that the special ops become available once you unlock the first faction base. These operations take you to unique locations outside the map to find a deadly device. You will obtain four trophies tied to this game mode, which are easy to earn.

The tasks include finishing a special operation, completing a mission while monitoring the overheating bar, rescuing 30 informants, & unlocking any chest. This step won’t take long but will yield exciting surprises as you tread the unknown on a covert mission.

Step 4: Kill the Two Insurgency Leaders and Sweep Up the Remaining Trophies

Conquistador

Unlock all other trophies

• Grade: Platinum
• Player %: 24.58%

This trophy unlocks when you have earned every other trophy in Far Cry 6. DLC trophies are not necessary.

Yo Soy Dani Rojas

Choose Dani’s look in the solo campaign

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 96.55%

When you start the game, you’ll get the option to choose which Dani Rojas skin, and picking either one will automatically unlock this easy cosmetic trophy.

Hidden in Plain Sight

Make it to Miami

• Grade: Silver
• Player %: 45.51%

This is the only missable trophy in the game, and you’ll need to start a brand new file to obtain it if missed. When you get the boat, proceed to the outskirts of the map instead of heading toward the main objective. Shortly after, the trophy will unlock. This is the action that Dani wanted to take, and doing so earns you the award.

Cutting Foreign Ties

Recruit Legends of La Moral & ’67

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 48.96%

The Legends of La Moral & ’67 are both factions found on the southeast area of the map called El Este. To successfully recruit both of them, you’ll have to complete 15 missions total, and the trophy will be yours once the final mission is done.

Montero Justicia

Recruit the Monteros

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 55.97%

Recruiting the Monteros is easy enough, but it will require some patience. They are a faction that is in Northeast Yara in Madrugada. You will be tasked with 13 missions, and when the final one is complete, it will unlock the trophy for recruiting them successfully.

Voz del Pueblo

Recruit Máximas Matanzas

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 49.25%

You can locate the Maximas Matanzas faction in Yara’s central, northeastern region in Valle De Oro. However, they require you to complete 15 missions to recruit them, which should go by fairly quickly. The trophy will unlock after you have completed the last mission.

Viva La Revolución

Take Yara back

• Grade: Gold
• Player %: 47.16%

Once you recruit the three factions, you’ll discover the game’s five final missions. Complete the last of these to take back Yara and unlock this trophy.

Ninjerilla

Sieze an FND Base without being discovered in the solo campaign

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 53.35%

Some bases are more complex than others to accomplish this in, so if you don’t get it the first time, then don’t sweat it. Pay careful attention to the detection bars of enemies for this trophy because if one discovers you, you’ll need to try again without alerting anyone.

Isolate enemies and go for one at a time with silenced weapons that can also cause distractions. Marking and tracking enemies is also a sound strategy to make things smoother and reduce anxiety.

Co-Dependent

With a Co-op partner, capture an FND base

This is the only achievement that requires you to play with someone online, and it’s simple enough. Join a player’s game to take down an open base and kill all enemies by any means necessary, and the trophy will unlock. Note that stealth killing is not a requirement.

Liberty

Capture all FND Bases in the solo campaign

• Grade: Gold
• Player %: 34.19%

There are 21 FND bases to conquer in Far Cry 6, and it will go much faster if you break in there and start mowing down the enemy weeds. Talking to various people and discovering notes while examining the map will help you pinpoint the base locations.

You can also explore restricted areas to uncover hidden bases if you wish. Capture them all, and the trophy will be yours. I preferred the quicker method while disabling the alarms to acquire more resources.

Finders Keepers!

Bring back 3 FND Resource vehicles in perfect condition

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 33.10%

These are resource trucks that have a red marking on your map. Hijack three of these vehicles by killing the driver or initiating the prompt on the vehicle’s side.

From there, you’ll be directed to a destination to drop it off. Ensure you utilize a repair tool to get total health before leaving them to unlock this trophy at the objective. You cannot loot resources from these vehicles if you want them to count.

Check It Out

In the solo campaign, capture ten checkpoints

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 54.23%

When you drive to missions, you’ll most likely get this trophy by paying attention to the various checkpoints around Yara. Out of the 26 available, you only have to capture ten.

They are found on the road, and you must eradicate the billboard of any checkpoint to make it your own. Paying attention to this trophy is optional in your first playthrough, but it’s worth checking off the list when noticing the checkpoints when traveling. A few extra stops shouldn’t be a problem.

Friendly Skies

Destroy 16 Anti-Aircraft Cannons in the solo campaign

• Grade: Silver
• Player%: 48.74%

Anti-aircraft cannons can also be found in your normal playthrough, and you’ll run into enough to destroy 16 with a simple explosive. Remember that enemies will also be at this location, which might make things a little tricky. Some uranium in these areas is worth picking up for other medals.

It’s Raining Treasure!

Intercept 10 Military Supply Drops in the solo campaign

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 35.77%

Talking to various people and reading notes will reveal different missions in Far Cry 6, and the military supply drops can be completed in the solo campaign. You’ll only be tasked with completing half of them with a limited time to intercept an FND drop with supplies. These are guarded by a few enemies which you’re accustomed to dealing with by now.

Undying Tradition

Finish the Yaran Story called “Triada Blessings”

• Player %: 43.52%

For this trophy, you will be tasked with exploring three relics on separate treasure hunts that will eventually earn you some of the stealthiest equipment in Far Cry 6.

Go to Quito on the island and find Oluwa cave. Make your way inside and follow the trail until you find a note that will begin the quest to earn this trophy. Here are the treasures you’ll find across three hunts. Return to the cave and examine the floor symbol when they’re all finished. This will trigger a wall to collapse and reveal your new equipment.

Top of the Pecking Order

Win a single Cockfighting match

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 63.02%

You’ll need a rooster to win a match when you reach the cockfighting pit. There is one in a cage next to the pit, so you can get a single victory to unlock the trophy. This mini-game is easy to follow and shouldn’t take long to win. You can optionally complete it with a co-op player.

Speed Racer

Complete 3 Gran Premios

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 41.38%

Check your map to discover exclamation points that can lead you to these exciting racing experiences that freshen up gameplay and give something different. You can do separate races or choose to do the same race three times, and that’s fine. They aren’t that hard and can be in different locations like land or sea. Complete three of them to unlock the trophy.

Beginner’s Luck

Win a Dominoes game

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 41.08%

Within El este, there’s a Legends camp where you can play dominoes. Play on easy mode and study the rules of Dominoes if you haven’t played before. You only need to win a single game to unlock the trophy. A bit of luck is involved, so don’t get frustrated if you fail initially.

Overheated

Complete a Special Operation

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 51.27%

Even though this is a trophy that can be done solo, you still need to be connected to the servers for it to unlock. Speak with Lola at the faction camps, and she will introduce you to six separate operations. You need to complete one of them to earn this trophy. If you get lost, use your map to determine the next steps.

Alpha Guerrilla

Successfully finished 5 Bandido Operations

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 49.50%

These operations are unlocked when unlocking a guerrilla camp for the first time. Unlike most other missions, these are ones you assign to recruits to complete, which takes some time. You can actively rescue recruits from FND forces and build up the barracks to earn extra recruits. This is good for increasing the success chances of a Bandido Operation.

You need to complete five to unlock this trophy. If you lose too many men, you may need patience and wait between recruiting. Keep persisting until you have five under your belt.

Road Rage

Execute a Vehicle Machete Kill from a horse

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 38.55%

Horses can be found close to camps and areas that have been retaken, so keep your eyes peeled for one. There are also horse pickup areas where you can conveniently spawn a horse to ride. You’ll eventually run into another enemy riding a horse, so kill them with a machete while riding to unlock this trophy.

Armed to the Teeth

Collect 49 Unique Weapons

• Grade: Silver
• Player %: 29.17%

These weapons can be found by exploring the map and discovering special crocodile chests, completing operations, & upgrading the hunting lodge. You can find any remaining ones you missed by utilizing the map to explore and uncover all 49 Unique weapons to unlock the trophy. Keep in mind that these weapons cannot be altered by using weapon benches.

Hogar Dulce Hogar

Fully upgrade one Camp Facility at any Guerrilla Camp in the solo campaign

• Grade: Silver
• Player %: 58.17%

Fully upgrading a facility in the solo campaign will unlock this trophy. You will notice six different camp facilities throughout Far Cry 6, and I suggest you go for the Hideout Network first since it requires fewer resources. By the end of your first playthrough, you should have the resources to upgrade all of them entirely.

Backpacking

Acquire every Supremo in Yara

• Grade: Silver
• Player %: 39.37%

There are seven Supremo backpacks in Yara, and every single one is worth obtaining for its unique abilities. You’ll get the first one in the prologue toward the very end. The following five can be purchased from Juan for 100 depleted Uranium. The final one is obtained following the Triada Blessings questline found in Undying Tradition. Collect all seven Supremos to earn your reward.

Fry Cry

Buy 15 Meals

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 31.88%

It costs 30 medicine and 30 Gasolina to install a La Cantina within a faction camp conveniently. You can get status buffs from there by making meals with various ingredients.

Killing and looting animals early is an excellent way to ensure you have enough to unlock this trophy. If not, then you have some hunting to do. Here are the animals that you can turn into meals. Buy 15 meals to unlock this award.

For this trophy, you can purchase the locations of USB sticks to see them on the map with real money. However, I recommend using a separate guide to uncover 15 without spending the money. The trophy will unlock after you’ve collected the fifteenth USB stick, and they’re pretty hard to find without a guide.

That’s Puzzling

Unlock 15 Criptograma Chests

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 27.66%

To make this trophy easier, you should do a quick video guide search, especially if you’re a visual learner like me, because instructions can be hard to follow. These are special chests hidden throughout the map that contain great gear. Look for blue arrows with keys indicating a Criptograma chest is near. Unlock fifteen of them to earn the trophy.

Car Cry

Collect all 4 Rides

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 35.08%

You can call on these stylish rides by utilizing the weapon wheel, but you have to acquire them first. Here they are, along with the unlocking requirements, so you don’t get turned around. Collect all four to unlock this achievement.

• 1956 Beaumont Valentina: Story related unlocked during Prologue
• 2008 Kag TG: Consult with Yami after stealing said car and complete her side quest to keep it
• 1985 Tokai Sabuku: Go to El Este in La Joya and head north to a restricted location where you can enter a building to obtain this vehicle.
• 1962 Verrazzano Bravo: Obtained by completing a single Gran Premio race.

Recrooster

Discover all roosters

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 28.60%

You can discover 13 roosters in total within crates around Yara. You can make things a bit easier by purchasing the map, taking the free method, and looking up all rooster locations in a guided video. Discover them all, and the trophy will unlock.

Loyal Army

Recruit 5 Amigos

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 40.84%

Dogs aren’t the only friends of humans, and this trophy involves the recruitment of various animals to help you distract or finish off enemies. Here are all the Amigos in Far Cry 6 and where to find them.

• Guapo: Story related can’t be missed
• Chicharron: Within El Este, you’ll find a note at Patriotas peak that will initiate the questline to find him
• Boom Boom: Find a note at Camp Maximas to start this questline and find Boom Boom
• Chorizo: Found at Montero Farm and will require a quest to unlock
• Oluso: Finish Triada Blessings questline

Strutting His Stuff

Equip Chicharrón with the Motherclucker Outfit

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 36.41%

In El Este, within Sierra Perdida, you need to start the questline called “Man’s Best Enemy.” From there, you will obtain the Chicharron as an Amigo and can equip the Motherclucker outfit by opening the Amigo menu. Doing so will unlock the trophy.

Secret Weapon

Distract 10 soldiers with Chorizo

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 37.91%

Unlocking Chorizo is your first task, so make sure he’s available. Next, feed Chorizo crocodile meat. Afterward, you will trail him around camp as he digs up some treasures. Now you can use him to distract enemies in a camp by selecting the option and distracting ten soldiers to unlock the trophy.

Heated Conflict

Kill 10 soldiers with active Heat

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 71.41%

Examine the active heat bar and look for the notification that Castillo’s soldiers are pursuing you. This is the time when kills will count towards this trophy. If you don’t have this trophy by now, barge into a camp and trigger the alarm so soldiers are aggressive and increase the heat bar. You will almost certainly earn this by playing the game naturally.

Jawson Brody

Kill a shark with an explosion

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 37.24%

Yara is surrounded by vast ocean terrain where many sharks are hungry for an explosion. Just north of Aguas Lindas is an excellent place to hunt for sharks; you only need to kill one. A grenade or rocket launcher should do the trick here for an easy trophy snag.

Sophishticated

Catch 10 Fish

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 39.22%

Fishing in Far Cry 6 is surprisingly intricate, and you will have many opportunities to catch them with various types of bait for more challenging fish. They aren’t created equal and will test your patience, but that’s half the fun of fishing. Keep casting your reel and hope for the best until you catch ten fish to unlock this medal.

Outdated Tech

Take out a soldier by sabotaging an alarm

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 32.51%

There are a few things you need to do before you can sabotage an alarm in a camp. Upgrade your Bandido barracks to level three with 420 medicine and metal, and you can buy the wristband known as Techmaster. From there, you can infiltrate a camp and sabotage the alarm.

Note that some camps have two alarms that need to be dealt with. Go and make yourself known to an enemy so they go to trigger the alarm, and boom, you earned the trophy!

Oh No You Don’t!

Kill 3 Insurgent Leaders

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 26.81%

Every Monday, there are insurgency resets, and this is why it might take you a few weeks to earn this trophy. Taking back provinces will help you reveal the location of an insurgent leader, and you need to kill three total to earn the trophy. Completing objectives will help you uncover and hunt them down accordingly.

Not So Special

Kill 10 Special Forces soldiers

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 70.32%

These are the most authoritarian brutes in the game and will only spawn during specific points. Maxing out the heat bar is an excellent way to make them appear and play greater difficulties for more frequent encounters. Aiming for the head is the best advice to take down these guys quicker. Killing ten special forces soldiers will grant you this trophy.

Not So Tough

Using an EMP device, disable and hijack a tank

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 41.43%

Take your pick regarding EMP type, including devices like Volta Supremo, EMP bullets, or EMP grenades. Increasing your heat meter will increase the chances of a tank spawning, but you’ll have many tank encounters with opportunities to take command in the story. After it’s down due to the EMP, jump in and hijack it to earn the trophy.

Ultimate Predator

Hunt all Mythical Animals in the solo campaign

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 31.75%

Fully upgrading the Hunter’s Lodge will allow you to buy maps to discover all these legendary animals. They’re harder to kill, but you can use your whole arsenal to defeat them. You can also stumble on them while playing the game usually. Here are all the mythical animals you need to hunt.

Slip Sliding Away

Slide 200m at once

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 33.05%

The best way to accomplish this tricky task is to build a hideout network in a camp in South Sierra Perdida with the Hideout Bolero. Fast travel and then head forward until you reach a smaller farm. On the right, a road leads down where you can quickly sweep up this achievement by sliding 200m at once.

Hit ‘n Run

Run over 10 soldiers in a vehicle 

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 60.53%

Find or call a vehicle and then use it to kill ten soldiers, and this trophy will unlock. Driving into a base with a car can help you get this one quicker with a higher concentration of enemy forces to run over.

Didn’t See That Coming!

 Disable all cameras and alarms using a Security Control Center 

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 48.54%

Discover and kill the officer holding a keycard which can then be used to access the security control center. From there, disable all cameras and alarms to unlock the trophy. Sometimes the card is just lying there, and you must ensure you aren’t spotted during the process.

Death from Above

Take out a soldier from 50m above them

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 48.96%

Acquire an attack helicopter to travel the distance above your target for this test. You can jump out and shoot them with a rocket launcher or sniper rifle to take the soldier out. Using the rockets on your helicopter is another easy strategy to earn this award.i

Toxic Influence

Have poisoned soldiers kill five other enemies

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 30.88%

Poison grenades and poison bullets can cause enemies to betray each other. Using a lower damage weapon like the SMG, equip the poison bullets and then infiltrate an FND base so they are alerted and gather together with reinforcements.

After they are assembled, they throw a grenade and start shooting the poisonous bullets, making them kill each other. It may take a few tries to get because they eventually die from the poison without killing someone.

Fashionista

Equip a full matching Gear Set

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 68.63%

Complete gear sets are easy to obtain naturally, and the Munition set will most likely be the first one. Go to the armory and equip each piece of the same set so it’s fully matching, and you’ll unlock the achievement.

Do It Yourself

Install every Mod on a single Resolver Weapon

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 38.47%

You’ll need to replace the standard mods with enhanced ones on a single-resolver weapon. Loot plenty of recycled fasteners, gunpowder, industrial circuits, & durable seals, which can be found throughout the map. You’ll likely have enough halfway through the game to earn this trophy.

Glamping

Build one of each Camp Facility in the solo campaign

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 48.72%

This trophy is much like the Hogar Dulce Hogar trophy, only this time, you’re going to be building every camp facility instead of just one. Complete the missions for factions to unlock the foreman. You can easily build one of each camp facility from there while playing solo to earn the trophy.

Furiously Fast

Have 10 parts installed on a Ride

• Grade: Bronze
• Player %: 36.99%

If you don’t want to go out of your way for this, actively scan vehicles and do races to get enough parts to install ten on a single ride. Here are the parts you should know and how to unlock them.

• Turrets: dismantle military vehicles
• Rams: destroying military vehicles
• Rim Styles: Scan civilian vehicles
• Countermeasures: Complete Gran premio races
• Armour: Gran Premio races
• Exterior & Interior colors: scan civilian vehicles

The most uncomplicated strategy for this trophy is the Mesozoico mission. There is a room to the north in the building with a T-rex skull, so pick it up and head southwest on a road until you locate a pterodactyl where the chest is located behind a statue. This is the easiest method, but there are other hidden Moneda in each special operation.

Maceois a good spot to conduct yourself for this trophy. Spawn in and notice there’s a flare shot in the air which signals that’s the location of the informants. Be very stealthy and don’t get caught while killing the enemies to free the hostages. Each run has three hostages, so you’ll need to do this a few times to get the trophy.
